Critter Captains support

Row and column numbers count submarine squares. Submarines are straight and cannot touch, even diagonally. Tap to mark water; double tap to place a submarine segment. Drag from an empty square to paint water, or from a water note to erase notes. The fleet shows the lengths you need to find.

During a puzzle, open ? → Learn with the captain. Complete the highlighted action to unlock Continue, or choose Skip tutorial to leave. Practice uses a small teaching puzzle and does not spend your hints or reveals. Replaying the tour preserves your existing puzzle.

An incorrect submarine placement costs one heart; water notes are free and reversible. At zero hearts you can restart the puzzle for free, or choose a rewarded video to restore your hearts and keep your marks. Used boosters are not refunded by restarting.

You start with three hints and three whole-submarine reveals. A practice hint in the tutorial is free. After the relevant supply is empty, the app can offer a video. Check your connection and try again later if it cannot load. Ad availability can depend on region, privacy settings and ad supply. A reward is granted only when the ad service confirms it was earned; an interrupted video may not earn one.

Use the ad's reporting control if one is shown, or email forcolasupport@icloud.com. Include the advertiser, approximate date and time, and whether it was a banner or video. A screenshot can help; remove personal information before sending it.

Daily puzzles unlock after completing campaign level nine. A new daily starts at midnight UTC. Complete daily puzzles to build a streak. You start with one freeze, which automatically protects one missed day when eligible. Each seven-day streak milestone earns an extra hint. A longer gap can break the streak without affecting campaign progress or supplies.

After daily puzzles unlock, open Settings → Daily puzzle reminder. Reminders are optional and off by default. If allowed, they are scheduled locally for the next seven days, two hours before midnight UTC. Completing today’s daily cancels today’s reminder. Plans refresh when you play; you can also disable notifications in iOS Settings.

Open Settings → Ad privacy choices where that option is available. Share game statistics is a separate, optional setting. Read the privacy choices section for details and privacy-request contact information.

Critter Captains has no account or cloud-save service. Progress stays on your device and may be included in an iOS backup, depending on your Apple settings. Avoid deleting the app while troubleshooting: doing so may permanently remove your save.

Reopen the app and check whether progress restores. If the problem repeats, email your app version, iPhone model, iOS version, level or daily date, and what happened immediately beforehand. Do not delete the app or send private backup files as a first troubleshooting step.

The app supports dark appearance, larger text and reduced-motion adaptations. Full VoiceOver puzzle-board gameplay is not supported in this version. Contact support if text or controls are difficult to use.
